Be Important: Apply for a Student Committee Appointment

If you want to get more involved on campus, affect future CMC policy, and learn how our school operates behind the scenes, this is your chance. Apply to be on one of the Trustee, Faculty, or Special Committees. You will represent the student body and help contribute to school policy by providing your input in meetings with the Board of Trustees, faculty, administration, and college staff. There are a number of options, ranging from Academic Affairs and Curriculum to Food Service and the Athenaeum, so feel free to apply for up to three committees that interest you. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are encouraged to apply; however, students going abroad next year cannot serve on a committee. ASCMC will review the applications and submit nominations to Senate for confirmation. The application is due by noon on Friday, April 17.
