Aren't Animals Awesome? Aye, Absolutely Amazing

What would you think if a goat walked tightrope? Ho, hum, kinda interesting. What if there was a monkey doing acrobatics on the goat's head? Cool story, bro. What if you threw in a video camera? A YouTube hit. Or, if you just want to skip to the finale of this bovid's balancing bonanza, click here. Of course goats can do all that stuff, you say. Hell, goats can eat tin cans, right? (Actually they can't. Which kinda ruins their "coolness" factor. However, I digress…) But what about the goat's bleating friend, the sheep? Well, with the the help of some lights, dogs, humans, and some massive product placement, courtesy of Samsung, sheep prove that they can create art, and play the video game Pong (yes, this was featured on 827 last semester, but it's just that good!):

What about in the wild? Those fans of the Redwall series--hopefully 100% of you--know that animals routinely have huge battles (and that ferrets, weasels, and stoats are evil). Those battles also happen in the real world. Hopefully you've seen the following epic, 8-minute long video that was captured on an amateur video camera (and no, it's not porn). It's a small skirmish between African Cape Buffalo, a Crocodile, and a Lion pride at Kruger National Park in South Africa. It takes a bit to get into it, but the wait is well worth it:

What's the one thing that Battle at Kruger is missing? A good, British narrator like David Attenborough (who is such a better narrator than Sigourney Weaver on Planet Earth, by the way). Ever wonder what a narrator's  internal monologue sounds like? Wonder no more--thanks to the the following video:

That's all for today. Oh, wait, what's that??
