Because there are no new episodes of Gossip Girl until April 20 (!!!), we bring you two awesome Gossip Girl-related sites which you can waste time on. And you can look forward to SLC showing the new Gossip Girl on Monday, April 20 at 8pm in Bauer Forum-- with Some Crust cookies fsho.
First, there's New York magazine's weekly recap, which appears on their blog The Daily Intel, under posts tagged "The Greatest Show of Our Time." Don't let tag scare you--these guys are harsh critics.
They assign positive points for all the things that they show got right.
Realer Than a Girl Having to Lie About the Number to Her Overly Sensitive Sentimental Boyfriend: +100 points for Rufus using the Bro Codes formula of how many people to tell your girlfriend you slept with: N=[(a/10+s)^0] + 5 N is the safe number a is the bro's age s is the chick's slut factor
Then they take away points for things that would never ever happen in New York or in real life, for that matter.
Faker Than a Yale Hopeful Having Sarah Lawrence as a Backup School: -5 points, Would Lily really talk with her mouth full like that? Even if she is 'slumming it' with someone from Brooklyn?
Second, there's What Chuck Wore. Which is exactly what it sounds like. Just a taste (refer to picture of Chuck, above):
“Hell yeah these pants are red. Look how red my pants are! Nate could never wear pants this red. Nate doesn’t have enough personality for pants this exuberant, this delightfully whimsical. Though maybe I shouldn’t have gone with the green socks. Wait - what am I thinking? I’m Chuck Bass. Of course I should have."
To be perfectly honest, we think these sites are possibly more awesome than the show itself.
