Apparel Although the Store @ CMC will only grow as the year progresses, we already have our first batch of t-shirts. Click on the link above! Who needs Huntley? Not you. Also, parking information from Dean of Students (more returning students information can be found here).

Parking is provided for CMC students in four college parking areas:

•    The North Quad Lot is located at Ninth Street and Mills and may be reached from Claremont Boulevard (CMC student parking permit required). •    The Sixth and Mills Lot and the Sixth Street Lot are located on Sixth Street south of the athletic complex and this area also includes a number of parking spaces on Mills Avenue north of Sixth Street (CMC parking permit required). •    The Student Apartment Lot is located east of the football field (CMC student parking permit and apartment parking permit required). Only residents of the Student Apartments will be given access to the gate at the entrance to this lot. Guests of apartment residents may park along the west side of Claremont Boulevard (a city street) beginning at 6am and ending at 2am (see overnight parking restrictions below).

These four lots are the ONLY parking facilities for CMC students. All student motor vehicles must be registered with Campus Safety to be eligible to park in campus lots. Returning students can register by visiting Campus Safety's website at https://cheetahweb.cuc.claremont.edu/cs/vehcite/login.asp. Students will need to provide their CMC email address and the first nine digits of their CMC ID number to complete the process. Permits are available at Financial Registration (required attendance for all CMC students) on Friday, September 5 in McKenna Auditorium. Be sure to read the Motor Vehicle Regulation pamphlet provided to you.

•    Students are not permitted to park in faculty-staff lots. •    CMC students are also not permitted to park in the student lots of the other Claremont Colleges. There are no exceptions. •    No overnight parking on College streets unless authorized by Campus Safety (x18170). •    Motorcycles and mopeds must be registered with Campus Safety and must be parked in student lots. They should not be parked close to buildings. •    Driving autos, motorcycles, motorized scooters, or mopeds on campus is prohibited and will result in a fine.

The city of Claremont has overnight parking restrictions -- one-hour parking on city streets between 2am and 6am -- and the Claremont Police Department will ticket for violations. If you have an emergency, such as your car has broken down, please call the CPD to request overnight parking.
