E-40 and Dem Hoodstarz Concert Party

Last night was CMC's Hyphy Party featuring E-40 and Dem Hoodstarz.  The party was very well attended-- over 1,000 students came out from four colleges (Pitzer chose not to contribute funds).

E-40 came on later than expected-- around 12:30 AM-- and the party was cut short due to noise complaints from the faculty housing below Sixth Street.  The Claremont Police Department almost shut it down earlier, but due to a purported gun fight in Upland, did not shut it down until about 1:30 AM during the song "Tell Me When to Go," according to Brian Fuerst '09, who was responsible for the party.
